Trainee Chef / Trainee Commis Chef

MyHotel Meppel is looking for an enthusiastic and eager Trainee Chef / Trainee Commis Chef. Are you following a chef's training and want to learn the trade in practice within a friendly and committed team? Then we are looking for you!

As a Trainee Chef/Trainee Commis Chef, you will be involved in our kitchen, learning all facets of the trade. You will assist with meal preparation, help during lunch and dinner service, and work alongside your colleagues to ensure our guests can enjoy delicious dishes. You will be given the opportunity to develop yourself, gain experience, and take on increasing responsibility within the kitchen.

32 - 38 hours

In accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for the Hotel and Catering Industry

What we ask

• You are studying to become a Cook or a Chef.
• You have a passion for cooking and want to further develop your skills in the profession.
• You are eager to learn, motivated, and have a can-do attitude.
• You work neatly and have an eye for quality and hygiene.
• You work well in a team.
• You are flexible in deployment, also in evenings and weekends.
• Experience in the kitchen is a bonus, but not a requirement.
